A new day, a new adventure. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to hike to Morans Falls yesterday at Lamington National Park with my partner Jesse, and my sister Karina. It was a beautiful sunny day – unfortunately, that sun was a bit of a nuisance when it came to taking photos.
It was just after midday when we set out. A trip to the Alpaca farm had set us back time-wise and the light was very harsh and bright. This meant that any photos taken in the shade had very overexposed areas. Lucky for me, I’m equipped with a copy of Photoshop and I’m not afraid to use it.
As you can probably guess, I went a little overboard with HDR. For some, these photos might be a bit too saturated and unrealistic, but I love bright, fun colours in my photographs, so I enjoyed editing these.
I hope to go hiking again soon and with my European holiday just around the corner, I can’t imagine being stuck for subjects anytime soon!
